Can we connect the EZ-8 to the RC-4, similar the the AP-8?

No, the connections are different.

EZ-8 to RC-4:

Connect each channel you want from the EZ-8 to the RC-4 Xn (X1 - X4) inputs; you will need one extender cable per channel; there is no serial output from the EZ-8 to the RC-4.


EZ-8 to AP-8:

You'll need to cut one connector off the end of an extender cable.  Connect the black wire to the EZ-8 GND terminal.  Connect the white wire to the CH8 output terminal (green terminal block).  Connect the other side of this cable to the "P" header on the AP-8.  Set the segment DIP switches to the segment that you want to play.  A short pulse on channel 8 of the

WARNING: Do not, under any circumstances, connect the TTL header on the EZ-8 to the any TTL header on the AP-8 -- this could lead to a problem on one or both boards.
