I was wondering if there are any photos of some examples of good ways of wiring and safely mounting a RC4.     Do most people just use standard in-wall solid core wire?  What types of boxes are used to mount the RC4 and keep it safe?  I have tried to attache an image of what I have done so far.   I need to make this more waterproof for outdoor use but I think it is pretty safe so far.

I've started using sprinkler control housings and the plastic grey junction boxes from the home improvement store.  Here are some pictures of a controller I built into an Orbit  irrigation box.  I don't have a rc4 in it but it could be added.  I  only use stranded wire because it's easier to work with.
