I am sorry if I don't have the terminology correct....I am very new to this ???

If I am running different voltages for each item I am trying to control with prop 1, is the RC-4 board necessary?  For example:  one item is a 120VAC light, another is a 24VAC solenoid and yet another is 9VDC sound controller.

Any help would be appreciated!

You can use the RC-4 with the Crydom relays we sell to control the AC elements of your project.  Depending on the current requirements, you 9 VDC sound board could be run directly from the Prop-1.

Is it possible to run a 24VAC electromechanical relay from the prop 1 controller?

No, you would have to get a 24V DC control voltage relay, of course you can run AC through the contacts of that relay.

Scaring someone with a prop you built -- priceless!
