Voltage trigger input, what is the absolute minimum voltage?

Hello All,

I just recently bought an EZ-3micro and I had a question about the voltage trigger input.  I know it says 12 to 24 volts on the board, but I have a prop that has an external trigger of about 5 volts and would like to know if this would still work.   Has anyone tried a much lower voltage to see what is the lowest voltage the board will trigger at?  I would like to avoid having to use a relay.

Thank You,

Geo

If you have a 5v signal, why not take it into the PIR port? It's 5v compatible -- just use the B (black, ground) and W (white, signal) pins.
