Controlling a Pololu Micro Maestro Servo Controller for Eye movement

I would like to now attempt to do more "eye candy" props for my haunt now that I've feel I've got enough "startle" props.  I was looking at the Madame Leota tombstone at Disney World and I wonder how hard that would be to copy/take inspiration from. (For those who have not seen it, a tombstone statue opens its eyes and looks from side to side, then closes them again.  Happens approximately every 30 seconds while you wait to go into the Haunted Mansion.)  I know we have difficulty running servos off the Prop-1, but what if I had the Prop-1 turn on a Polulu Micro Maestro to control the servo running the eyes. Would that work?  Could I even possibly use an EZ-3 timer, as I don't want to trigger this manually or with a PIR, but would like to have this occur once a minute or two like the real thing.  Here is the link to the Polulu Mini Maestro:http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1350 and here is the link of Madame Leota's tombstone:http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=madame+leota+tomstone+picture&view=detail&id=E23780F5CAE17E8F10119744A97BD0A8F16BB030&first=1

Should be no problem. You'd want to configure the device for 2400 baud. You can connect one of our 3-pin cables from P7 on the Prop-1 (EZ-3micro is no usable in this project) to the TTL header on the Pololu board:

W --> RX
R --> VIN
B --> GND

I would think this should be no problem at all with just a Prop-1. It sounds like it will just be one servo with two movements that keep repeating every minute or so.
