Title: EZ-3 Micro- won't control 12v DC Solenoid?
Post by: halloweenrick on October 29, 2016, 11:17:10 AM
Hi, I'm in the midst of doing a quick and dirty pop up Spider and the EZ-3 will not shut off the power to the 12v DC Solenoid to control the air flow, it just remains on all the time.  I tried it on V+ and Pulse, but that just gave a quick burst, though it does shut the solenoid on and off.  I have the correct power supply from EFX Tek for the board, and I have it on V+ and ground currently.  What am I doing wrong?
Thank you!  Pics included.(http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f166/halloweenrick/PA290037.jpg)

Use the relay for longer outputs (controlled by the RUN pot).

Connect V+ to your valve
Connect other side of valve to N.O. terminal of relay
Connect COM side of relay to GND terminal

With these connections the valve will activate when the relay is on. Refer to the documentation for setting the desired time range of the RUN pot.
