It's been a year since I had to save any .BIN files from Vixen to put on the microSD card of my HC-8's. I can not remember if I need to save it "by time" or by "frame index". I am using Jon's HC-8 vixen player master program. I do not have the prop in front of me that I am programming for other wise I could tell right away if it worked or not.

It really doesn't matter unless there's a certain frame or time in the sequence that you want to end it on.

I always uses frames. As Jack points out, time is just another way to reference the data which may be useful when exporting a partial show.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if the vixen player program for the HC-8 specifically required one or the other.
