Title: Prop SX/RC-4 and fog machine
Post by: youngti on September 27, 2009, 10:29:38 AM
I'm vamping up my sliding top coffin.  I'm going to be using a Prob SX to turn on a Motor for 8.5sec's, Light, sound (using CAP200) and Fog machine.  My question is I was planning on putting all of this inside the coffin.  Do you think the FOG will mess up the boards with moisture?  Trying to decide if I need to mount the electronics outside the coffin.

Thanks as always guys.

No, it won't hurt the boards.  What we suggest, though, is mounting the boards vertically so that any accumulated moisture can run off.  If you're really concerned, a Tupperware-type container is really easy to modify into a fairly moisture-proof container, and it's really cheap, too.

UNBELVABLE!   Sunday and you answered with in 2 minutes.  YOU GUYS ROCK!  This is one of the reasons I will not buy anything other than EFX-TEK controllers.

Thanks again

Maybe it means I need to get a life!  We do appreciate your business, though.
