Description
Programming the Prop-1 controller requires a level conversion of the PC's RS-232 serial output to the TTL levels used by the BASIC Stamp 1; the BASIC Stamp 1 Serial Adapter from Parallax provides this solution in a simple, inexpensive package. Simply plug the BS1-SA into your serial cable and connect to the Prop-1. Note that programming the Prop-1 in the Windows environment requires BASIC Stamp editor version 2.1 or later. The editor is available as a free download from Parallax, Inc.

The BS1-SA is compatible with the USB-to-Serial adapter (#28030) should your PC not have an available DB-9 serial port.
